It depends...If you absolutly know that your friend is lying to you, then you should talk to him/her. If they say that they havn't been lying to you, then I wouldn't be friends with them.
If they say that they have been lying to you , then find out why and maybe you two can work something out.

If after your conversation with them, they stop lying then it's all good, but if they continue to lie, then I would leave them.

Well It depends??? Has ur friend gone through some resent changes / lost some one / or made any NEW FRIENDS???? Think about it now, it's very possible ur friend is actually running through a tough spot without you, but is trying to tell you somethings up, just without really TELLING you. Maybe it's his way of asking for help without being ashamed!!! I would just try listening to his lies, find out what exactly he's lieing about then try talking to him about it. Especially if what he's lieing about is consistant...You'll figure it out and will be all over. Don't turn ur back on someone so quickly, you'll regret it in the end?????

Yes. There's no point in continuing the friendship. Unless you want to make a game of counting up the lies over the coming years and then having a swell "surprise party" with them one day...

Surprise!

Do you remember lie #447? I do, it seems like only yesterday but it was actually 15 years ago on this very day, imagine that! Do you remember what it was? Oh ofcourse not, I'm sure you've lost track by now...

Etc., etc., etc...

Yeah, you're better off without that.

This person was never a friend to begin with ,and you'll do better without the stress of having someone this toxic around. The ONLY thing that determines true friendship is trust.

It really all depends on what the person is lying about and how much you value your friendship. Maybe it is time to have a talk with your friend and find out how much they value your friendship.

No you shouldnt because friends are suppose to be able to tell you what they are feeling and not lie to you or everything is fake. You need to be able to open up to them truthfully if you are having a problem, they should be able to respond without feeling they shoujld lie to you or put on a front.

I would say yes. Because building a friendship need trust. It's the basic, and if he/she doesn't even have that, you might as well end it.

If you enjoy the person's company, keep The friendship. But be aware that you can't believe a word s/he says. Also liars usually can't keep secrets,so tell him/her nothing in confidence.

I would say yes, it is not a friendship if you cant trust a person or if that person doesnt have enough respect for you that s/he cant be truthful!
