means if its dead, will it rot or stuff and how long later. What are the special care they need?

It sounds like you didn't do your research prior to getting your turtle. Here are some links to read thoroughly. More than likely, he died from poor diet or poor lighting (UVB).

Dead turtles don't move or react if you pull on a limb.

It needs no special care, but should be dealt with like any other small, dead pet animal.

Not sure what you are asking, but a dead terrapin will not react to anything.

ALL dead things rot.If it is dead it will smell worse than anything you've ever smelled in your life..believe me!
