How can I put a Yahoo icon on desktop instead of the MSN "shortcut to internet" Yahoo is still my homepage, but the MSN icon directs me to my mail "compose" section and not my homepage. Thanks for your help Lauren

goto yahoo. add it to favorites. open favorites menu. rclick yahoo item and copy, then paste to desktop. or:

goto yahoo. goto file --> save as. change the 'save as type pulldown to 'webpage html only', change the 'save in' pulldown up top to 'desktop' and save.

On the homepage go to a blank spot and right click. Click Create Shortcut, then click Desktop.

Go into your browser and create a favorite to Yahoo
Drag that favorite to the desktop and it will become an icon

go to your home page ,put it in favorites,left click it,go to send to,desktop create short cut. you can do that with any site also.
