Looking for info online of man who incinerated woman in NY in 40's, in book called Terror in the street.?

The man who murdered the woman was my great, great aunts husband, it has never been talked about in my family and i am very curious to understand what happened and all of what he did.

if i were wanting the type of info you are looking for- i would begin with her death certificate...try to research the precincts archives if thats possible and archives of the local newspaper for the area. you may be able to do th archive research on line if you can find out the name of the newspaper.
