anyone have or had a vasectomy? had any side affects,,,and how long did it take to recover?

I had one in 93 and beleive me hours after it hurt like a *****, but it passed and It seems sex is better now no worrys of suprises, no ill effects,every thing is about the same so be at ease, no worrys.

My dad had one a few years ago while he was on Thanksgiving vacation from work, he was just a little sore the next morning. But you have to know my dad, as soon as he got home from the surgery he went deer hunting and lugged back a 7 point buck and skinned it that night, he is not the type to sit still, but if he felt good enough to do all that I guess it did not slow him down to much. He never complained about having any other problems with it.

My husband did about 16 years ago, in the doctors office. he walked out. it only takes maybe a day of rest, but I hear some of his buddies went to work afterwards. I think you just need to not lift stuff. the weird thing is, our doctor made me watch. It looked pretty simple. they numb you and snip that simple. well maybe not THAT simple, but it was not too bad from my point of view. He honestly didnt complain either.

had it done in '95, was no big deal. use a bag of frozed peas to reduce swelling, they kind of forn to your "form". had it done on a Saturday morning, went to work on Monday - not a big deal at all.
