Generally good, and certainly a good start. If you're looking for constructive criticism:
* The background and text block are good: the colors are apropriate and not clashing.
* The bubbles-at-the-cursor effect is a little over the top; it will get annoying after a while. I'd likely drop it.
* The picture overlaps the text on my browser -- you might want to look into that.
* The highlighing on the text is a little bright and makes the text harder to read. This might not be a problem if that's all you use, but I wouldn't use the effect on the rest of the page, and I might remove it if it seems too much to me.

Good start.

I agree, the bubbles following the cursor is a bit annoying.
I also thing you'd look better just using a nicely colored font rather than the highlighted look. Hard to read. Use a little larger and bolder font.
