Do you really have something to say that is essential to our existence? If so, I would like to "hear" (read about) it.

I find your question very interesting. I think it is what is not being said that is essential to our existence. I find that this day in age the world is too noisy. People always have something to say, good or bad. Loud streets, TV's, radio, sirens, chatter.....on and on. People need to be quiet....to go within themselves and listen. Maybe through inner contemplation and focused thought, bad desisions, wrong judgements, and mistakes may be avoided. People have lost touch with who they are.....they only need to stop and listen. Then, what is not said, what is learned or discovered....will be more important than words could ever describe. THAT is essential to our exsistence!

Essential to our existence? I suppose I could say finding peace is essential to our existence. I really hate the violence that is going on all over the world. Mankind just can't seem to grasp the reason we are here. Life is so short. What really matters anyway? Caring for, teaching and feeding Earth's children should be at the top of the list, I feel. Also, taking care of the environmental issues on Earth.

Here:

the initiation, or ceremonial is the event we're all ignoring. The graduation, the baptism, the inauguration, marriage. From this human spectacle, a seance of being is radiating out from the nexus-- one that demarcates and territorializes the categories of inclusion and exclusion. Participation affirms the tradition and gesture. Non-participation the same. It is that which makes the married, the graduate, the published writer a Real entity-- and those outside the initiation Not.

The formal dance, the national anthem, the sacrament. These performances aren't mere significations-- they are THE source and manifestation of how we come to affirm the categorization of anything.

How I prove this is going to take a book.. which undoubtedly someone else has already written, so I'll just throw it out there.

I've found that just about everyone does. We're all in this together and it's amazing where the insights come from. For myself it's this, try not to get offended and you'll seldom be angry. I admit it is easier said than done. The "Golden Rule" seems to be an essential to our existence but I would think that we all know this inherently. Thank you for this opportunity to share my thoughts.

I think that the key to a perfect existence would be to let go of everything we hate as well as everything we yearn for.Think about it. If we were free of the push pull feeling of all the things we want and don't want in our lives, then we could experience life, enjoy the good and release the bad. No cravings no aversions.

By your question it sounds like you pretty much heard all you care to hear, the thing is. How many times has the answere been given but ignored?quite a few and one of these days no one will want to answere the same question again because it is not being heard.and then we will know silence to hear the voice that counts.
