The United States will ALWAYS support Israel. I dont think that will ever change. Was it right to respond by attacking Lebanon. Well, if someone hits you, we are always told to hit them back. But in Israel's case it isnt Lebanon that really hit them it was the Hezbollah. Its like saying the Klu Klux Klan kidnapped 2 mexicans. Now Mexico will attack the United States in return because the KKK is in the US.
To sum it up, yes they had the right to respond, but they responded the wrong way.

Yes, with out question. If a terrorist group from Canada or Mexico came into the U.S. and took two military soldiers from are home land they would pay the same consequences. They were given two days to return the first soldier, were warned of what would happen if they didn't and chose not too any way. They have no one but themselves to blame. Civilian deaths do accrue when they get in the way. I blame Lebanon for letting the Hezbollah have so much control over the country in the first place. This is a terrorist group that should have been taken out many years ago, at ANY cost. Now their paying the price for being so passive with this group and not controlling their actions. As for the U.S. supporting Israel? Yes. We have and will support them there is no if about it. We are their only real allie and will continue with our support. That's why this situation scars me to watch. If Iran and Syria become involved and Israel starts losing in an extreme mannor, are support will be there. With the lid getting ready to come off the pressure cooker in the middle east, there is no telling where this could go. Hopefuly Israel and Lebanon can settle this conflict on their own with out bringing other countries into this conflict.

Yes, Israel is in a state of war with Hezbollah. The people of Lebanon have voted time and again to include Hezbollah in the government. Israel is attacking those waging war against them. So if you sow the wind expect to reap the whirlwind. I just hope Israel utterly destroys any nation that starts a war against her.
If the choice is Israel or Arabs or Palestinians, or Muslims, yes the US should support Israel. Israel doesn't attack the US. Israel doesn't treat women as if they are slaves. Israel doesn't attack anyone that hasn't first attacked her. Remember Palestinians were the people cheering after 9/11. Arabs were the people who did 9/11 and Muslims are the people who think we deserved 9/11. So why would the US take their side?

in the first place hezbollah should stop kidnapping or killing israeli soldier and sometimes their citizen and lebanon should also stop or tolerate what the hezbollah are doing... they are basically base in lebanon so any retalliation of israel will hit lebanon but this dont mean that i agree to what israel has done by attacking lebanon's airport and killing some of its citizen... this problem with israel and its neighbor is as old as civilization itself this would never stop if the hezobollah or the palestine will continue their attcak to israel and its citizen, when will they ever learn that if they attack israel or kills any of its citizen the pay back is much more... and lets also re phrase your question do you think the hezbollah has also the right to kidnap its military or firre rocket to israel's border... with regards to US support i dont think it will stop supporting israel cause the United States hates terrorism.. Lebanon should stop caddling the hezbollah while palestine should also stop harbouring the hammas... and they should also come back to the negotiating table and stop this thing

Okay, lets also mention that Hezbollah also fired rockets into Isreal, also killing innocent people. As a reaction, Isreal is justified in the attacks. There have been no reports of any Isreali air attacks killing innocent people though. Many air attacks have been located at military bases and major roads that will inhibit Lebanon from counter-counter-attacking. Isreal may be going overboard but it is to prevent a full-out war from happening by knocking out their airports, roads, communications and blockading any ships from entering or leaving. Let's just see what happens when Syria and Iran get involved.

Israel is being a hippacrit. It has kidnapped lebanese people, and its not giving them back. Hizbollah is like the only group that stands up to israel and about time. Its not gona stand there and be like yes kidnapp my people while i stand here adn do nothing. It was given a really FAIR offer, to give back the lebanese people in return for the israeli's.
Israel is being a hippacrit.
Too many poor innocent lebanese civilians are drying
They are way too drastic, take the effin deal !

Collateral damage is always expected in war. If you go back in history when the British used to line up and shoot and stand there like sitting ducks, while the Americans would hide behind trees and attack you'll see the rules of engagement have changed' Terrorists are now hiding in civilian places and even in mosques because they know that some wouldn't dare attack there but if the Israeli's didn't adapt to that type of warfare then they have no chance. Israeli is the only ship in a sea of Arab's in the middle east, why would you sink it?

They should not have attacked Lebanon, killing innocent civilian. This action is heavy-handed and drastic. American should not support it, but I'm afraid they will support it.
I think Israel's action is orchestrated with America's approval. It is but a step to a larger plan. The goal is for both countries to colonize Iran to have legal rights to their natural resources. Time will tell.
