No, they never been swept yet by any team up to this point.
The Tampa Bay's Devil Rays came very close, they won 3 out of 4 game series against the Red Sox.

Once, by the Twins June 13-15. They were not swept by Tampa Bay earlier this month as someone else posted. They won the fourth game of that series 12-5 on July 6th.

Technically, they have been "swept" two other times this season. They lost to Texas on May 12th and the next two games were rained out. Same thing with the Yankees. Red Sox lost June 6th and 7th and the game on the 8th was rained out.

Minnesota swept them last month.

I thought Tampa Bay had done it earlier this month, but the guy who posted after me is correct - the Sox won the fourth game of that series.

As for the Yankees series, though, they played and won against them on the 8th, one day after the rainout.
