there is a reason that it is called Magic: the Addiction, I have known many people that spent their rent and the food money for the kids on the game since it came out in '93.

Well he needs to grow up. If u pay ur bills first and other stuff second you will have good credit and life is a lot easier. These days your credit report means everything. Do you know if you have bad credit you can not even get an account with a bank. That sucks. Your better tell you friend to get it together or u are headed for bad times in the future.

It's either that or more sex. Young Men need hobbies to keep their minds off having sex, or off woman's constant bickering about bills, their headaches and how the other day, while she was coming back from the shops the girl from around the corner, you know the one? The one with her hair all up in that thing she likes to call a fro, and she always wearing those skinny, short, ride-up-her-bum skirst that look like they were ripped off of some poor leopard's back, and she always just standing there outside her mate's place, probably on some new drug we ain't even heard of. Are you listening? Well stop rolling your eyes like that! Anyway, there I was minding my own business, you know me- I'd never interfere with another person's issues, but this chick.
"Who?" Exactly! Who could sit around the house listening to that without getting any booty time- let your guy play his silly card game- it's better than ending up in a padded cell!!!

My fiancee plays MtG as well, and he does collect cards and go to events, but it's not to the point where our bills don't get paid or he leaves me. I choose not to go to events and the like, and when we get short for cash, he seels whatever he can to supplement our income.
My father used his entire paychecks on comic books when I was little, and my mother and I would go hungry. If your boyfriend is obsessed with the cards to the point that it hurts you, than it's not a relationship worth being in. It'll opnly end badly. Or you'll stay with him (like my mother did) until he cheats on you one too many times and finally goes to jail.
I'm not saying that's what will happen, I was just giving an extreme circumstance. You need to establish where you stand with this guy, and if you're less inportant that some pieces of cardboard with pictures on them, then he's not the one for you.

Maybe he' sused all the ones he had. Maybe he hates to have to buy cards only when needed, at the risk of getting them writtena nd sent too late. I good solution would be to make one's own cards. I like to make my own.

That's what you get for choosing a loser over the 90% of decent men in the world. That makes you as big a loser as him. Your future is pretty grim.

Are you dating a 13 yo? Sounds like he's an immature loser. This is not the behavior of a well-adjusted adult.
