A few days' wait before coloring is fine, so go ahead.
BTW, perming first is best. Perms cause more damage to color-treated hair than to non-color-treated hair, plus the chemicals in the perm will change the color that you just put in (makes it a couple of shades lighter and less shiny).

You could do it now if using a non-ammonia based color but if in doubt...wait til about 6 weeks as it takes a few weeks alone for your perm to relax.

as soon as you were allowed to get it wet you could have coloured it.
althought for future reference... colour it first and then perm it. It's less complicated that way.
