I would have to say that "Crash" is the most important movie that's come out in a long time, not just because it has great dialogue, great editing, great acting, etc., but because it doesn't bother worrying about offending anyone to get its message across, and though the coincidences may not be realistic, the people in it are. Rarely does a movie come out with characters that seem real.

Super Bad American Pie 5 and 6 Wedding Crashers this one is from 2001, but definitely worth watching: Not another teen movie.

Gotta go with Lost in Translation
Just effortless and so easy on the eye to watch,superbly written,brilliantly cast,beautifally directed and just a heartfelt story that everybody understood.
A FLAWLESS MOVIE - these come around once every 20 years

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King because it's simply perfect: the actors, special effects and it's my favourite movie!

I would have to say Crash. There was something about that movie that haunts me today. No one in that movie is inherintly evil or good--it's up to you as the viewer to decide. I loved that it made you think, too. Great, great movie. Totally deserved the Best Picture Oscar it got.
