I would end it on Sunday night. Not too late. People will usually get into a bidding war at that time because they don't want to lose what they are bidding on before they go to bed on a work night.

I've always found Saturday at about 3pm eastern time to be the best. This time is optimal for both coasts and maximum buyers available to see your items.
