Theres really nothing you can do if your parents are getting divorced.. i know from experience lol, but the best thing to do is just accept it and realize that if there getting divorced its probably for the better or else they wouldnt be doing it in the first place. Accept there decision and be strong for them cause im sure there both having a hard time with it just like you are.

Well it wouldn't really matter for me. Even though I'm only 17 I've been through more things than other people my age. So if my parents get a divorce it's not going to affect me as much as it will affect someone else who hasn't had a lot happen in their life.

My parents are actually going through one right now. im 15 and its hard for me because i was so close to both of them. When it first happened i was kind of mad about it and didnt know how to handle it either because they have both been there my whole life and all of a sudden they werent. Its gotten easier but its still hard to deal with. I think the best think you can do is just think that they are doing it for a reason and even though it might not seem like it, its probably the best thing for them.

It is a VERY hard thing to go through. Sometimes it is for the best, but it is still very hard on the children. My sister & I seperated after raising our children together 20 years. It was awful for the kids and hurt them as if we were married.

However, it was the best thing because our fighting became harmful and toxic to all involved. Things are better now, but it took a very long time... but sadly, they will never be as they once were.

I am sorry if you are faced with such pain. I wish I knew something that makes it easier... all I know that helps is time. Good luck and God bless.
