You arrive first at the scene of an auto accident. The only victim is the driver of a vehicle that has rolled into the ditch. He is pinned under the heavy vehicle and has caught fire along with his vehicle. He is burning but still alive and asks you to shoot him with a gun (this scenario assumes one is available). Would you or would you not and why?

I would, Im a human being who cares for others.

I dont want him to suffer, unless there are ways to rescue him.

No because even though he probably wouldn't survive anyways that is still considered murder. However since i do carry a fire extinguisher with me i would use the ext. to hose the man down. This would probably still kill him but it would be more of a pass out and not feel the pain, and i couldn't be charged with murder because all i have to say is i was attempting to save the man.

No I would not.. since this scenario includes a gun it also includes a fire extinguisher, (which would be more likely) I would use it to put the fire on him out until emergency help arrives.

that's a crazy question, why wouldn't I try to save him first. No I would never shoot him, let him be responsible for his death (the car accident) not me (the gun) besides I don't think I could ever shoot someone unless they were about to kill me or someone I loved.

No, first off this would be considered homicide, and leave me responsible for his death.
Second, what gives me the right to end this guy's life, even if he asks me to. The only people who have that right are god, the state, and that individual person.
Finally, if you really wanted to let him die, I would give him the gun so that he could do the job himself.

Uh, no. That would be murder. When he gets to the hospital and they tell him he'll live in utter agony for the rest of his life due to the burns and their inevitable scarring, then I would hope he could make that decision on his own.

I wouldn't. I can't live with that guilt that i killed someone even if they wanted it. Im Buddhist and we believe that if you kill something, you will relive its life and die the same way. But if I had to, just if, then I would take my cell phone and record his words,"shoot me" save it then do it. Then when i get convicted for a murder i will have evidence that he wanted to die.

Umm wow, I really don't know what I would do. I think I would shoot him. It sounds bad, but I would want to help them stop their suffering. If people are in pain, there is no use forcing them to live.

Nope because no matter wat you are still killing the person, and its not like this situation happens all the time but iF i were to come upon it, the most i would do is toss that person the gun, but before that i would call 911 for help
try to think logically
