i am gonna change my health insurance

just wondering how can EVERY company check my health history?

If you had insurance before, they can pull up your records from a simple database. If you didn't (and you say you did), they wouldn't be able to look you up but if they found out later, they would cancel you and may want their money back.

Your insurance company helps pay for your healthcare so they have to know, different things cost different amounts of money,like an ER visit...it will cost more than just a regular doctors appointment, you're insurance company has to know what they are paying for.Same thing when you use you're insurance to get a prescription, they know exactly what you got,how many,and when you got it.You are tracked every pharmacy you go to...that's how we know who the "seekers" are at the pharmacy...you're insurance will tell us if you went and got lets say..vicodin at another pharmacy the day before and you are trying to get it again....or tell us other pain medications you have been getting elsewhere.It's not a big deal, it's just they're job.

they do this by talking to your last insurance company which has a file on you
