Actually, Jews always lived in the country, it was just controlled by Muslims who gave them varying degrees of trouble or freedom. They are considered occupiers because the Allies after WWII gave them the government. It's past time for their neighbors to just forget this foolish cause of theirs

They've been forever persecuted. The reason everyone hates the Jews is because most of the world is anti-Semitic. When people side with Muslim terrorists over Israel, they're really exposing their anti-Semitism.

Before the U.N. created Israel and Palestine, the Jews just basically were wandering around trying to find a place to peacefully coexist. At the time, the Jews and the Syrians (that's what Palestinians really are) were both kind of wandering around the area that is now Israel, farming and herding.

The day after the U.N. created Israel, it was attacked by Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, and Lebanon. Israel won. Maybe they are the chosen ones.

Israel "didn't" control Israel in Christs time, Rome did. When Jesus was alive, Rome "occupied" the land, hence Pontius Pilate was there, Herod, etc. as Governors. They made the decisions. This is also why it was so hard for anyone to congregate as Rome was fearful of sedition and punished anyone who grouped toghether without permission. The Pharisee's had an "in" with the Governor (see *sskissing) and in many ways got rid of their competitors this way, by suggesting they were troublemakers to Roman leaders, often getting them crucified or killed on Torture stakes.

So Israel hasn't controlled that land in almost 2,300 years :// since the time of the Maccabee Kings.

They were in and out of the country (mostly out), but always kept a minimal Jewish population there.

Questions such as "who was there first" are irrelevant, because it's not how the world operates. The one who has the land and wealth is the strong one, not the one who was there first. Israel managed to fight and gain considerable land. It is occupying it because there is no other choice. Israel would gladly give Gaza (as it did) and most of the West Bank, but it can't do so until the other side will remove the objective of destroying the state of Israel.

Trust me, Israel has nothing to do in the territories and would do it in a heartbeat, if its safety was guaranteed.

The catholic church. I baptize my daughter and we had to go to classes. I am catholic and i belive in god and have respect for other religion and i found it kind of upsetting because they were always trying to point that the catholic church wrote the bible and not those other religion as they would quote. I belive that we all have the right to worship god as we please.
