I'd make it legal and regulate it. The government could tax it, just like they do alcohol which is much worse than pot. It should be legal.

It most definitly should be legal. Of course there should be restrictions but why wouldn't the government want to legalize it, that mean taxes! Anyways, for a joint I'd pay 1 buck.

I hate drugs and alcohol.
BUT POT AND ALCOHOL ARE JUST THE SAME!
They have the same immediate effects and alcohol is actually worse. It's easier to be a functioning pot head than a functioning alcoholic.
So yeah, why not make it legal? Government could make money and less people would get in trouble.
The world is crazy already...can't see it getting any worse.

I do not believe in the legalization of pot but rather I would like to see it decriminalized where as it's ok to have it and still buy it from your friendly local dealer but the government cannot tax or regulate it because everybody knows that when the government gets involved in something it screws it up. as far as prices well that's between you and the person you buy it from though once it's no longer a crime to have it then the price should drop dramatically and the quality should go up and the spiked crap should vanish from the market.

Not really. The reason is not about how bad it is. It's just like if you should get a DUI and they test you, you are positive for pot, that doesn't mean that you were on it at the time, and I think that they would try to behave as if you were.

Alcohol is far worse than pot. I'm sure the government would make a tidy profit no matter what the retail price was.

yes, it should be. absolutely! the government could tax it, you could grow your own, etc. i don't know how much a joint would cost you. but, i think it's ridiculous that it's illegal. it's a ****** plant! prostitution should be legal, too. i don't like the government telling me what i can or can't do with my body or my time. (i'm not a hooker, but more power to them!)

Never. Although I believe alcohol is worse, pot should still not be legal.

Alcohol should be illegal. Brink back amendment 18.
