Is the drain for this blocked?

Water is accumulating under the floor matts, mostly on the passenger side of my 2002 Toyota Tacoma. Where is the blocked drain(s) located?

You need to jack your car up so you can get underneath it and then look for the little black rubber hose coming out of your car, it should be on the passenger side about a foot and a half in right at the bottom of the fire wall. When you locate it take a coat hanger and push it up in it VERY GENTLY so you don't tear it and it should clean any debrie out of the way, if it doesn't write back and I can tell you another way.

Yes it is! I had that problem in an old VW Rabbit and I had to find the small drain hose by peeling back the carpet from around the ac and disconnecting it from the drain hole in the floor, and use a cup to drain all the condensation backed up in the ac unit and tossing the condensation out of the cup out of the car and then go back for more. REMEMBER to pinch the hose off near the bottom before you just pull it from the floor hole or you'll have condensation pouring freely all over and under your carpets and you'll have a smelly mildewy odor for a LONG time, if you don't already have one now. Once you get all the condensation drained out and tossed out of your car, you need to find a way to "unclog" to some extent whatever junk that's up in your ac that's backing it all up. I used one of those bendable straws so I could get something up in there without hurting the ac unit. Also be sure the drain hole in your floor is clear. You don't want to go through all this work and overlook some small but essential matter like the last inch or so of the drainage process. I had to do it repeatedly over the years, but you may find a better way, or just plan on regularly unplugging your drainage hose. It may be a pain, but your ac will work a whole lot better if you keep the condensation back-up at a minimum. God Bless you.

Yes. Very common problem. Try to locate tube inside car, slide it off the vent system and run a long pipe cleaner through it until it pops out the under side of the car. Reattach and you should good to go providing you have a good, tight fit on the tube.

It sounds like the drain tube/hose is clogged, yeah. Check your owner's manual to find out where the drain is; unhook the tube or hose; see if there are leaves or other debris in there; if so, either blow the stuff out or, if it's wet, get a thinnish wire to push it through and out; or else take the whole thing apart to clear the hose/tube.

Get a coat hanger wire and push it up into the drip hole for your a/c heater core box. Then the water will run out under the car and not in it.

Take it to the dealer, it cost me 30 dollars. Do it soon, I waited too long and blower fan had to be replaced.

You probably have a cut in your a/c hose that's dripping
