I refilled the ink in my color cartridge, it prints great, but when I check my ink levels , only the black cartridge shows "full", the color is grayed out with a red "X" over it. How can fix this , without buying a New Cartridge? Is there a trick?

Lexmark printers does not like refilled cartridges. The printer is recognizing the cartridge as the same empty one you took out, some re manufactured cartridges will not work either.

Most printers software comes with a maint. section where you can tell it you replaced the cartridge. This resets it back to full.

Navigating the control panel menus
Press Mode to select the Copy, Scan, or Photo Card mode.
Press Menu to open the menu structure of the selected mode.
Press the up or down arrow to scroll through the menus in the current mode.
Press the left or right arrow to scroll through the options list of the highlighted item.
Press Select to choose a setting.
