Yes, but I was born before AC. Just fans and a good breeze.
Drink lots of fluids. And jump in the shower for a cool down, but not too cool
because it will seem hotter than before the shower.
Surprisingly you adapt to it as well, I love the heat. AC has always irritated
my sinuses. In the Tropics I trained myself to do things slower, not like the race horse pace I was used to.
See if there is a warranty on your AC, and I have donated AC to a local organization,
for people in need.
Eat sno-cones or munch/crunch on ice.

As an outdoor temp no I'm not used to it. I'm a chef (what gave that away) and working in a kitchen in this heat is not bloody fun at all.
From a different point of view however, the average healthy body temperature is 37.5 degrees Centigrade (so we are in fact very used to it)

No I'm NOT used to 37C I never will be. I feel best at around 17-21C, anything over is a ruddy heatwave. Roll on autumn!

I live in Oman in the Middle East, so yes I'm used to it! Gets up to 55C in the summer... Our AC bill is kinda expensive! lol Well we have 9 ACs in the house and they've never ALL been broken at the same time (thank God) but we have had power cuts when we lose 'em all... at times like that you need to suck up to a friend and move in till it's over ;) hehe

I live in Scotland and I love really hot weather - i.e. hot with no humidity. We had a few heatwaves in the 80's where it got as hot as that - but it is a rare occurrence.
