I have never worked at a fast food place but I have been to job interviews. The interview took place in an office with an intimidating person on the other side.

I was asked difficult questions like, "If you have an irate customer telling you you messed up, what would you do?" and things like that. Luckily, I have not had an irate customer but I think a good answer to that would be, "I apologize for any inconvenience. If you would like, I can let you speak to my supervisor." They will also ask you some personal questions to see if you will fit in with the team that is already there. Just be yourself.

One thing employers look for is someone who is punctual, dependable (will not call off), hard working, does not need to be told what to do because they already do it themselves, and, among other things, someone who is mature/ responsible.

It is good that you are wanting help. I hope you do really good in the interview and that you get the job!

I hire many workers in my office, and I always let people know what to expect at the end of an interview. Sometimes a candidate will do exceptionally well on an interview, but the difference in qualifications may be great from one applicant to another. Many boss' actually do visit with all applicants before making a final decision. My last interview process I had several excellent prospects, but could only hire one. The others did well, but were not hired because of the quality of the interview pool. I suggest you send a post card or note to the interviewer telling him/her how much you enjoyed the interview process and would enjoy working for the company. Also, let him know that if another applicant is found to be more qualified, you hope he will keep your application active. Make sure it is a positive letter. These little things can swing the advantage in your favor. good luck

1. type ur resume

2. dress up as professinal business girl/boy

3. impress them

4. say have a nice day, make them that u are interesting to work there

go online and read about the question they might ask u
why do u want this job?

don't do this

1. ask what do u get paid per hourr
2. is this a hard job
3. don't put selectoin of hours/week that u want to work, tell them u are avialbe all of the time expect few thing. u wants money

p.s. fast food place might be a horrible place to work at(depending on who works there) give it for few months, if u don't like it, find a job b/f u quit.........why? most places will hired you if u stay there for a while. Fast food is a place where kids work there for two weeks b/c it sucks. If u stay there for a year, many co. will thinks that u will work hard in that suck place, u will do fine in new job.

Good LUck

Fast food? You should expect to be dehumanized and to lose all dignity.

But they usually give you a free drink during the interview. You'll fill out some papers, maybe asked a few basic questions, but they probably won't ask anything difficult.

Oh, you have to answer this survey about "What do you do if a customer does ____?" And you just fill that in with whatever you think the boss wants to hear.

You should answer the questions to be the best of your ability. Wear nice dress clothes. If you wear jeans, the person doing the interview will probably think you really don't care if you get this job or not. Always be willing to be a team player.
Good Luck!

You'll talk to the manager, fill out an application (if you haven't already) and make sure you have references (personal or work, if you have any). Be confident and interested in the job. Good luck.

Give the impresion that you have a good disposition, a good temper. Communicate that you're a team player. Say that you think customers are due courtesy whatever.
