I hate to see these people with kids hanging all over them! They line up in the welfare office in my town and get boku cash and foodstamp benefits. Funny thing is that they and their kids are totally decked out in gold, nikes, Sean John, ect. They pull up in nice cars ect.
I thought you had to have less than 1,000$ worth of assets including cash. Also I see legitamate people with debilitating illness's mental and physical get turned down! Because they are single adults. I guess if you keep poppin em out the better the state pays. These people have to resort to homeless shelters and soup kitchens and evictions. There only crime was being disabled!
SSI/SSD takes a while to kick in. What to do in the mean time?

That is my point Shane S. They or their boyfriends are doing something very lucrative to afford such lavish things. Why are they given benefits?
I am all for being self employed but do not keep double dippin. Is the meager rations they hand out worth it?

Well well, so you have noticed also. As long as the STUPID welfare system will pay for a bunch of dumb butts to have kids that is exactly what they are going to do. After 1 illegitimate kid, that has to be supported by the state, the mother should be sterilized. The father should be castrated. The reason they can afford the good stuff is because they sell the good stuff. That being themselves and dope.

It goes both ways, women forget there is birth control and men don't like to "wrap it" because, "it doesn't feel the same". Oh Waa!! Also, I don't know what state you live in, but general assistance does not pay enough for people to afford some of the items that you mentioned, unless someone bought them second hand at a Goodwill. I know this because I work with the exact population you are talking about and I have also worked at homeless shelters, so I can tell you I have seen it from first hand experience.

From your question I presume you are in the USA.
The answer is straight forward; because you do not teach Sex Ed in your schools, so children are not taught anything, including the correct use of birth control. This in turn is because of right wing Christian pressure groups have far too great an influence on the government despite a Constitution that says they shouldn't.
At the same time a half arsed attempt to apply a welfare state is doomed to failure as it doesn't have the right checks and balances. The poor and needy fall through the safety net that others are allowed to take advantage of.
Clearly the Founding Fathers had most of it dead right.

The welfare system in this country is extremely messed up. There are honest, hardworking people out there who just need to get back on their feet. But they can't because ignorant, lazy people abuse the system.
Women need to stop popping out babies that they know they can't take care of. It makes me sick. I know that sometimes sh*t happens, but come on... Stop whoring around and get a job so your kids can have a better life!
Birth control is not expensive: they practically give it away at Planned Parenthood. There's no excuse. If you are allergic to birth control, use a condom or stop sleeping around until you can take care of the kids you already have.

More kids more money. The men in these relationships are the losers of society who mooch off of women on welfare. What really gets me is when women use abortion as birth control. Some women get multiple abortions instead of using protection.

Glad you brought that up I have been wondering that for years?I have actually asked women this question and you should hear some of the responses I have gotten,its amazing,when we are dealing with an unborn life and I hear "WELL i`M ALLERGIC TO BIRTH CONTROL THOSE PILLS MAKE ME SICK"Its the babies I feel sorry for,most of these future mothers have air between their ears.
