No. Some one recently did a special on TV where they re-examined the evidence, including DNA. If the case was investigated today, she wouldn't have even gone to trial. The murderer of her parents was a man who many people saw in the vicinity at the time.
PS what woman do you know that could deliver a total of 81 ax blows and still be able to lift her arms and use them normally in the coming days? Most female killers of her time and ours used poison. Then it was readily available and difficult to prove. Female killers are not ax murderers. If she wanted to get rid of her parents, she would have poisoned them or stabbed them with a knife. 80% of female killers (or at least serial killers) use poison.

Although I think she was actually found not guilty in the courtroom, she seems to have been generally believed guilty.

Kind of like a forerunner of O.J.

I have read about the case in the past and everybody I read concluded that she was the murderer. You should read about the case if you haven't already.
