100% with you on that.

Simple way to prove the point is to compare the coverage of any event where US or Israel has to lie to make its point. You can be sure it is going to be them against the world in the newspaper.

If Americans would be confident enough to second guess the news they are fed with and accept media sources from other country, they would be able to take much more advised decisions. Do you want some examples?

Fox news is Bush's poodle. I hope everyone knows that.

The corporate media is owned by capitalists. Therefore, it generally reflects a worldview that suits the interests of big business.

That being said, the media will air critical content if the advertising revenue will justify it. For example, the protectionist Lou Dobbs is on CNN every day, he conflicts with the neoliberal program of modern capitalism, but he's good for ratings.

By the way, CNN is owned by Turner Broadcasting which is owned by Time Warner, not Israeli lobbyists.

YES!!!In the United States, the news media is not owned by the
Government Agencies. Fox news is not a government agency and is absolutely not owned by Cheney. CNN is not owned by Israelian Lobbyists, but owned by a bunch of commie left wing groups like A. N. S. W. E . R. and Hanoi Jane Fonda's ex-husband Ted Turner. And your last question is YES!!!!

All media is biased. I think there are only like 13 owners of media outlets which means they have the power and use it to sway people towards politicians that they want elected. This is why Fox is Right Wing friendly, CNN is Left Wing friendly.

NPR is probably your only non-partisan outlet.

Last I checked Fox was a private company, not a government agency. Also, there is more to "the media" than Fox and CNN. From someone who is only getting their news from one source of course it would appear biased. Broaden your horizons.

Fox- Right Leaning
CNN, ABC, MSNBC, CBS- left leaning.

I wish there was also an unbiased network. That strictly promotes neutraul views and just reports the news. And not boring news like "democrats said yesterday that--" or "republicans always want to--"
I mean things like "israel has attacked Hezbollah today".

I guess thats what the internet is for though.

Yes, I believe the media is biased. Let's face it, certain topics and viewpoints make the best stories so naturally, those are the ones the media will pick. Their business is to make money by selling news. Boring stories/headlines just won't cut it.

I know for a fact that the media is biased. I'm here in Iraq, and the media won't hesitate to report anything negative. But of course they won't tell the American public about anything good....like the people here who have running water and electricity for the first time.....ever.

Yes, I believe the media is extremely biased in favour of right wing policies and politicians and it has been getting progressively more biased in this direction for decades.

Democracy has suffered as a result.

Sure the government puts their own spin on information released to the media.

Below are two sites that deal with some of the "information" the media gives the public.
