from the 50's- I think "Just the Way You Look Tonight'- an oldies dance in the late '60's but I don't know- from the 60's- "America" by Simon and Garfunkle- at a concert the 70's Van Morrison- Moon Dance-in college- 80's- "Codicrome" by Paul Simon- at a little trocery store and the 90's- "You Look Wonderful Tonight"- by Eric Clapton- heard in my car
How's that for a good memory?

From the 1950's fave is Maybe by the Chantells but also I like Night Owl by Tony Allen, Earth Angel by the Penguins, In The Still of the Night by ?, Over the Mountain Across the Sea There's a Girl A Waitin For Me by ?...great stuff, thanks for reminding me. And I heard them on Mighty 690 in San Diego as a kid.
1960's had to be the Beatles' Tell Me Why, a great rock song. Also dug Country Joe & The Fish Porpoise Sounds, Beach Boys Feel Flows, Jimi Hendrix All Along The Watch Tower, and soo much stuff by Bob Dylan, and that would have been heard on KCBQ and KPRI in San Diego.
1970's probably Led Zep's Stairway To Heaven, there were too many good songs to name. Oh I did dig disco then, the best dance music ever, You Make Me Feel by Sylvester. And that was heard on KGB in San Diego and at various discos of the era.
1980's I dug a lot of Madonna's stuff, heard that on MTV 1990's there was one song I heard only one time, either the title or lead lyric was I Want To Touch You, heard on 91X, I dug it but nobody else did or it would have gotten more play.

50s...I love Dean Martin, Tony Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Perry Como...it would be hard to have a favorite song out of so many great songs.
60s...I love The Beatles, Beach Boys, Loving Spoonful, Herman's Hermits, Van Morrison, and many more too numerous to list...
70s...Partridge family, Abba, Beegees, Orleans, Jim Croce, Barry White, James Taylor, John Lennon, Lobo...and more
80s...easier to find favorite songs rather than favorite artists... I love "I'll Melt With You" and I love "Dancing With Myself" and "Jessie's Girl"
90s...Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, Sugar Ray, Cake, and of course lots of other...
