Who says science is progressive?

I guess there are loads of scientist all working at different things, all having spent year at college and uni to get there, But lets face it all they are doing at the end of the day is messing about with ideas and generaly play. When I was a kid my friend and i invented a potatoe bazooka using a peice of 2 inch pipe some cleaning fluides mixed together and of course a potatoe. It work with such force it traveled through both the front and rear windows of my dad's car. I guess if we had had a few atoms to play with we may have invented something even powerful?? lol
Science! Man is only restricted by his own imagination..........so dream on!
