he left with my car about 5 hours ago.... he said he would call me later, and we would go out for dinner. I asked when will he be back.. he said about 3 hours or so...
I have a feeling I won't hear from him until the wee hours of the morning.
I'm getting a little tired of his lack of respect, and am thinking of phoning in the car stolen if I don't hear from him in a couple hours.
I've never done anything this nasty... and I feel awful for even thinking of it... but I'm tired of his behavior, and his constant walking-all-over-me attitude. I realize I partially created this situation myself for letting him walk all ove me for this long now. But I am trying to turn this thing around for my own sanity, and to grab a hold of my life again.
Would calling the car in stolen be a lesson to him? Or should I just wait this out until he returns, and never allow this to happen again?
Thoughts?

Is he out with his friends? Guys operate on guy time. My husband and his friends are pros at it. I'll be back in a couple hours, I'll expect them when the sun sets. I'm going out for a beer, I'll be right back= I'll get a call at 2 AM. I'm going over to my buddy's house and we'll probably spend the night= See you on Sunday! It allows me not to worry what he's up to and have fun on my own. I wouldn't lone him my only transportation though. Give him another 2 hours and then report the car.

Good for you, but the car is NOT STOLEN...make a clean break without committing a lie. You could end up getting in trouble and don't waste tax dollars like that. Make a smooth exit. Just leave him alone. Tell him why. He's going to kick and scream... you said yourself he walks over you. There is a good man out there who will be good to you. Lose this loser. He's probably in some girls bed right now. Here's to your broken heart healing. I used to be in your shoes. Now I am happily married. Break free girl, but DON'T BREAK THE LAW nor get the law involved. BE COOL.
With much love,

you can't have the car reported stolen unless its gone for more than 24 hours. Do you even know where he goes for the 3 or 5 hours. I know thats not a good thought but what he is doing could greatly effect you.

Put it down as experience,if it comes back damaged, this is another story.
Tell him ,you don't want to hurt him,but its time to move on.[Can we still be friends.]
Making enemies,never helps anyone.
