Yes our children and their children will always live in aworld where there is war. This is all thanks to the middle east so why dont we pull our troops out and nuke them, even the children because they will grow up and join a terroist group.

Not at all. I believe in the promise made by God in the Bible that there will come a time when the whole earth will be a paradise and all humankind and animalkind will be at peace with each other. I'm not sure how old you are so your lifetime could be longer or even shorter then mine but yes I strongly believe this will happen in my lifetime and I'm still under 40 years old if that helps you to define lifetime expectancies. Everybody has their own beliefs and views on things but that is mine and that is what you asked for right others opinions and views? The world was originally made to support all life comfortably and successfully throughout eternity but hey our ancestors had to mess that up for us all and until God says their debt is paid we'll pay for their mistake. Hope this helps answer your question or at least give you something to think about and some hope.

I lead a very peaceful life, day to day, theres very lil violence. Most people live very well in comparison, and with a decent degree of safety.

I don't think there will ever be an end to conflict. I do know that because we have chosen to fight our enemies on their turf, Americans at home can enjoy a great life.

Hint: Stop watching the news all day, examine your own life, not the lives of Israelis and Arabs/Muslims.

That is the same hope every generation has had since the beginning of time. Each generation gets a little better each time. There really have been great strides. You may not see it, but learn your history and you then will see it too.

No, not hopeless. Just very difficult to achieve, due to the competitive survival nature of man.

Only when there is no longer any reason to be competitive, will there be peace.

However, at that point, why bother. No fun.

As long as man (woman (pc)) has the ability to think, express, rationalize, etc., there will never be a peaceful future. There will always be some tyrant wishing to have supreme control.

There is always hope, even when it's slim.

The good news is that 90% of the world's violence is being caused by Muslims. If we can somehow stop the Muslims from killing, bombing, beheading, and kidnapping, then 90% of the world's violence will stop.
