For your information, when you bomb at house 5am that holds a Koweit resident business man, his Lebanese wife and 5 children without any sort of warnings, do you call that a blind murder? I call that SAVAGE murder.

The Israelis and most of our media are lying as usual.

But here's the truth people :)

"basically the current stage of what's going on -- there's a lot more -- begins with the Hamas election, back the end of January. Israel and the United States at once announced that they were going to punish the people of Palestine for voting the wrong way in a free election. And the punishment has been severe.

At the same time, it's partly in Gaza, and sort of hidden in a way, but even more extreme in the West Bank, where Olmert announced his annexation program, what’s euphemistically called “convergence” and described here often as a “withdrawal,” but in fact it’s a formalization of the program of annexing the valuable lands, most of the resources, including water, of the West Bank and cantonizing the rest and imprisoning it, since he also announced that Israel would take over the Jordan Valley. Well, that proceeds without extreme violence or nothing much said about it.

Gaza, itself, the latest phase, began on June 24. It was when Israel abducted two Gaza civilians, a doctor and his brother. We don't know their names. You don’t know the names of victims. They were taken to Israel, presumably, and nobody knows their fate. The next day, something happened, which we do know about, a lot. Militants in Gaza, probably Islamic Jihad, abducted an Israeli soldier across the border. That’s Corporal Gilad Shalit. And that's well known; first abduction is not. Then followed the escalation of Israeli attacks on Gaza, which I don’t have to repeat. It’s reported on adequately.

The next stage was Hezbollah's abduction of two Israeli soldiers, they say on the border. Their official reason for this is that they are aiming for prisoner release. There are a few, nobody knows how many. Officially, there are three Lebanese prisoners in Israel. There's allegedly a couple hundred people missing. Who knows where they are?

But the real reason, I think it's generally agreed by analysts, is that -- I’ll read from the Financial Times, which happens to be right in front of me. “The timing and scale of its attack suggest it was partly intended to reduce the pressure on Palestinians by forcing Israel to fight on two fronts simultaneously.” David Hearst, who knows this area well, describes it, I think this morning, as a display of solidarity with suffering people, the clinching impulse."

When the American people stop their government from sending a total of $90 Billion of their taxes to Israel to support their barbaric acts then the fighting will stop.

And also when the American people stop their governments from vetoing any chance of a peaceful settlement, then maybe there will be an agreement.

SHOW ME where these kids are being DELIBERATELY Murdered by the israelis. I am so sick of this anti-israel propaganda on these forums.

1) In war, casulties happen. The palestinians TARGET Israeli CHILDREN and OLD. HOW COWARDLY IS THAT. The Israeis kill children ACCIDENTLY. Same as the US kills citizens ACCIDENTLY.
2) Lebanon supports paelstine, they deserve what they get for kidnapping the soldirs. People like you flip out over an accident by israelis but will ignore how these islamic fascist scumbags attack children and send theier OWN children in with suicide vest.

"HELL NOOOOOOO....cause Israel doesn't even have the right to exist"

Good you know what-- keep thinking like that. It just shows your awful hypocricy. Why aren't you giving your lands back to the native americans??? Answer me too (I doubt you will). Give your house and all you belongings back to a native of the land. Then go back to Scotland or whatever country your ancestors came from and then say "Israel has no right to exist"

And by the way Palestine was a colony by the UK. The UK gave it to the israelis. I see NOTHING wrong with that. the Israelis didn't take it over like many believe.

Hezbollah has since its inception in 1982, been a Guerrilla Force in the south of Lebanon. They are funded by Iran and operated in the protection of the Syrian Army, Up until the Syrians pulled out of Lebanon 2 years ago. They have actually murdered Thousands of people, Jews,Christians, Druse, and Other Muslims that they didn't find Muslim enough. They operate independent of the Lebanese government who is not strong enough to stop them from operating within their boarders. They are dogs. You scream "murder" But Car Bombers are Heroes.
Let me lay this on ya. Iran is being pressured by the UN to give up on its Nuclear ambitions and all of a sudden Hamas and Hezbollah start up new fronts in the war against Israel. There are no rights being defended nor is there land being taken and exploited only poor Palestinians being exploited by Persians for Iranian Interests

The Israelis have been itching for this show down in the middle east since the Suez Canal conflict. The French egged them on then,America has had a certain degree of restraint on them in the past..They have invested millions in sophisticated weaponry, and they are **** sure of themselves,Bush should stay out of it and let the Arabs handle them, they have caused nothing but dissension in the area since the late 40s,I`m not supporting murder on any level,The country of Israel is small and they should be grateful they have what they got instead of trying to take over another country, they are in the wrong spot strategically and all they do is cause trouble, they will end up giving the US a hell of a headache,I would`nt trust them.

So the car bombs and suicide bombers don't kill innocent women and children . how about the 100s of missiles that are being shot into Israel.
I was listening to NPR (National Public Radio) and even they had to admit the Hezbollah started this conflict. They just under estimated the Israel response.

Wowee. Now THAT'S a loaded question!! Israel is the only country on the face of this Earth with balls. What amazes me is the fact that nobody understands these terrible muslims. All they want to do is to ultimately, destroy the western civilization. They are starting with Israel, but they will not stop there. Remember how we treated the nazis? The muslims should get the same.

Yes. War is war. You can't guarantee innocent people won't get killed in war.

They're not murders, don't be so inflammatory. And it was four soldiers kidnapped and six killed. And that was just the latest attack. You make it sound like the only attack.

If Lebanon did not want to be involved in the war started by ultra-violent Muslims, then Lebanon shouldn't have housed and shielded the ultra-violent Muslims.

the worldwide press isn't involved in the certainty that on a daily basis Israel has to shield herself against the rockets very actually lobbed from land given up via them in many circumstances. Why do you anticipate Israel to place down her arms and not the Palestinians? If Hamas laid down their arms there is peace yet while Israel laid down their arms they could be overrun and destroyed it is the avowed purpose of Hamas. became into Israel at the back of all the terrorist attack as you will possibly have us have self assurance - get your data appeared after out from the propoganda.

Many people say the war on terror is unjust, how can we kill the Afghanis, the Iraqis...um, how could 19 terrorists kill over 3000 civilians and not expect retribution? The same goes for Israel. How many suicide bombers must they endure (civilians, women and children murdered) before they react?

Get a grip...they've had enough. Payback is hell.
