If you are talking about Buick-Pontiac-Olds then you are looking for anything late 60's to around late 70's and either a TH350 or TH400. The BPO refers to the bell housing pattern that bolts to the engine, Chevy used their own while the other GM divisions used the common BPO pattern. There are also case of dual bolt patterns known as the uni-bell that fit either application. There are also several other GM transmissions that would bolt up, such as the 200R4, and 200C and 200. Then you have the aluminum powerglide in 60's Chevy's which was esentially the same as the TH300 used in the BPO vehicles. What trans are you looking for?
