Does anyone plan on auditioning for American Idol?

If you say no, why not?

I'm not going because well.. i'm a bad singer.
But yeah i'm bored and curious.

I think Taylor is great. I went to one of the American Idol concerts with the top 12 and he did great.

Kelly Clarkson did the best but Carrie Underwood is doing great for the country folk.

I don't like country at all though.

and wow I didn't think anyone was going to reply telling me that they're going to audition. if you do go, remember me. :)

I'm going the the NJ audition. Even if it might be one of those stupid reality shows, its just something you gotta try once. I have a decent voice, sang in a few shows so maybe i'll at least pass the first round. And if not, i can always say I at least tried!

WISH I COULD. THEY'RE BE IN SAN ANTONIO ON THE 11TH OF NEXT MONTH, BUT I CAN'T GO. HOW WOULD I GET THERE? IT'D ONLY BE ABOUT A 5 OR 6 HOUR DRIVE FROM WHERE I LIVE, BUT I STIILL CAN'T GO. ANOTHER THING IS I'M NOT PREPARED. I'M NOT GONNA AUDITION FOR ANYTHING IF I'M NOT EVEN PREPARED. HAVE YOU SEEN SOME OF THE PEOPLE THAT AUDITION FOR THAT SHOW? THEY ARE SO BAD! WHEN I WAS WATCHING A FEW OF THEM WHEN THE SEASON BEGAN, I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LAUGH. THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW YOU'RE BAD IS IF WHEN YOU'RE SINGING THE JUDGES LOOK AROUND THE ROOM TO DIFFERENT THINGS AND IF THEY LAUGH. I'M A GOOD SINGER BUT I STILL NEED PRACTICE. MAYBE DOWN THE ROAD I'LL TRY TO AUDITION. BUT IF I DO, AND SOMEHOW AMAZINGLY MAKE IT ON THE SHOW, YOU WILL VOTE FOR ME, WON'T YOU?

I did Season 4. It replaced into depressing. I had to attend 10 hours interior the pouring rain to sing 5 seconds of a music that they advised me, i'm not unique sufficient. positioned on a gown. quite a lot all and distinctive that dressed goofy were given via. And, make sure to get there somewhat early like 5 am once you get your arm band. That way you received't ought to attend 10 hours. Haha it replaced into an experience let me tell ya!

If they're smart they won't.

There will be other avenues to explore your talents and American Idol and the Idol franchise is quickly dissapearing.

The best, and only lasting person from that whole fiasco is Kelly Clarkson (who I adore) but the rest are doomed to fade into obscurity.

Let's see. I have a son - he's almost 18 year old. When he was a small small child - in a carseat after picking him up from daycare, I was singing to the radio and he said "stop singing" and I said "but Ilike this song" and kept singing. He proceeded to CRY. That is the reason I'm not auditioning!!!

No. It's another stupid reality show, that people watch to see others screw up. Everyone thinks they can win, only to not even make it on the show, those that are allowed are allowed mainly because they suck and to give viewers a good laugh. I have watched the show for 15 minutes, this year, and that was more than enough.

im only 13 right now but once i go through voice lessons and turn 17 or 18 i will! i dont want to be too young! Chris shoulda won!! i hate Taylor

Yeah, me too... same reasons as you I mean. But also , because I'd probably audition for Canadian idol after some singing lessons, cause I'm CANADIAN!!!! YAY!!!! See, I'm bored too...

I thought about going, but I decided not to because I only sing in the shower and at night when I can't sleep. :)
