You definitely want the one who's cock and has a lot to offer rather than the supportive one with little to offer. Think Brian Billick here. He's an egomaniac, but he does know how to coach (when he has a decent quarterback). Yes, he leaned heavily on Marvin Lewis when the Ravens won the Super Bowl, but he was still the coach. What good is a supportive coach or manager is he can't get results. It's better to be cock, think you know it all, and then back it up.

I'd say it depends on what age group. For younger kids, one that's supportive since they're still learing. But for hs age and up to adults, I'd choose the cocky one because by then you can handle someone like that, plus as mentioned they usually have a reason to be cocky....you're there to win when ya get older!

It's been my experience that when someone's cocky....they usually have a very good reason to be cocky....So I'd pick the cocky one.
