I love the books, but the movies stink. They left out a lot of stuff from the newest movie. I thought they could have done better. But the books? oh i do treasure the story that lies within!
Last book coming out soon hopefully:(

I loved the books. The movies are OK, but they are always a let down because the books are so good. They DO leave a lot out of the movies, but if they don't the movie would be 8 hours long. Most of the times movies don't do books justice, which is why I would rather read the book.

I absolutely adore the books. I think the first 3 films were among the worst I've ever seen in my life. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are terrible actors. Saying that I thought the 4th film wasn't too bad.

I'll admit it...I'm a big nerd for them. I never understood the reaction to the books..people waiting outside the bookstore at midnight for the new releases..then I read the first book..and have now gone through all 6..and will probably be one of those people in line for the seventh book...

I adore the books. They are so addictive as JKR has weaved such an interesting story with so many intriguing characters.
That said, I find the films very mediocre thanks to the young cast being rather talentless (they were all chosen on their looks rather than talent) and poor scriptwriting. They are nothing like the epic adaptations that the 'Lord of the Ring' fans can enjoy.

They're great! And for all the people who say "Ooooh--they're about the dark arts!, so they must be evil," I say, "read them before you assume that." They are about friendship, fighting evil, and bravery. I don't know of anyone who would object to that.
