I remember Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk, Lonnie Donnegan and Kenny Lynch. That type of entertainment is lost in the mists of time, and its simplicity and good old fashioned entertainment values will never grace our screens again.........

Kenny Ball had a jazz band and was seen on TV a lot in the early seventies.

Yea I used to watch Kenny Ball at the Queens theatre in Hornchurh essex on a Sunday lunchtime , brilliant ! The music is still out there

Doubt it - but you can still listen to their music and the jazz of New Orleans, Chicago etc, on cd's. Those days were great but we have all moved on...

Yes they used to be on in the 60s as was acker bilk.
