There's an old saying in philosophy: anything follows from an absurdity. In this case the absurdity is that God could have a "chosen" people. If God is all knowing and all good, then God wouldn't have a prejudice in favour of some people over others just because of their race.
It's better to stop believing in chosen people and respects Jews and non-Jews alike. This world should have outgrown racism by now; let's all help it to grow up!

God created humanity in all it's diversity. Man created religions....
Historically, the bible has been "interpreted" so many times epsecially during turbulent middle ages - e.g crusades to Jerusalem, is it any suprise that the Jews came out so badly?
Smells like the hand of 'man' again....
Jew Christian Moslem et al - we're all human - TOLERANCE and ACCEPTANCE is what was preached, but never listened to - we always focus in on what justifies our own misguided perceptions. Time to grow up!!

if jews are g-d´s chosen people, i am happy not to be a jew, they have been rejected through out the story and in presente time.
i think they really believe that, feel very important and produce lots of hatred from others.
i myself have sephardic blood , but dont partake their lot.

God's chosen people are people who will be saved from the wrath of God who is to come. We, Christian, are chosen people also, because Christ chose us from the world and gave to us eternal life. Go read your bible if you want to know the truth.

There are some seven thousand distinct ethnic groups in the world; all of which considered themselves to be "chosen" in some way and made "special" by some outside force or deity. No ethnic group feels itself in any way at all inferior to any other, nor should they obviously.

No. And there's nothing in the Bible to suggest that. In fact, quite the reverse, throughout both the Old and New Testaments.

Humanity is not age 4 anymore. Daddy doesn't love some of us more than our brothers and sisters.
