Where should I get a tattoo?

I am going to get a tattoo on Monday and I don't know where to put it.

Hey, chosing a tattoo that's right for you isn't easy and you should definiteley take your time... Have you picked the design yet? Some designs look better in some places than others... Make sure it can stay covered when you need it to. I did research online for mine, wanted a chinese symbol on left shoulder blade, you surely don't want something misspelled by a tattoo 'artist' inked for the rest of your life! Overall, the experience wasn't that bad lol. and I love my tattoo

Then, on the ankle, it says, "I love kinky sex, do me!" in my crowd. I travel worldwide, seems to be consistent everywhere cross-culturally!

On the shoulder blade, a butterfly is OK, unless it is on a guy. If the guy is over 5'4" tall, or has a knife or gun handy, I wouldn't comment...

In Thailand and some other nations, Tattoos are only on the convicted criminals, to tell what they did. Had a girlfriend who was convicted of manslaughter... and served her time. She has two tattoos... doesn't like to lift her arms, "sign of the beast", and all... Otherwise, she is quite a lovely woman!

Some of my cuties have them on the Tummy, or, lower, but, then, in the hairy parts it is super painfull, dangerous, and, later, unseen, when the fad of shaving is left behind... so they tell me...

Anywhere on the azz is a real notice to the World, of a "Biker Chick, easy rider"...

Look, tattoos have a definite sexual connotation, meaning in some crowds, that you "swallow"! (on the shoulders, or breasts), but, In some societies they can be a beautiful mark, signal of rank, a sign of a sado-machochist, or a convicted murderer. Are you any of those?

Still, they ALL have a 'meaning', and, unless yours do, too, it could really be a statement that you are a wastrell, blowing in the wind, with no purpose, no goals, no future... you 'did it' because 'everybody else did it'! How vain and stupid!

So, if you aren't a sexual being, or ready to become one, and, a person with a genuine statement to make, don't do any false advertising! You will regret it, later!

Go out and buy one of those cute gold anklets... or a toe ring... instead!

It depends on how big it is.. if not too big.. try your foot.. those are cute.. or on the back of your shoulder on the right.. you lower back.. or on your stomach on the font like on the side ..

just be sure that it is something you really want and something that won't start to get on your nerves after you've had it a few years...

Angle, calf, or lower back. Don't get it near the top of your breast, it seems to me that only skanks get tatoos near their breasts. Also don't get it on the back of your neck. I've seen women at weddings who have had tattoos in these two places, and it didn't look good at all. Low cut-gowns, with hair up really show off tattoos there.

Generally, I think tatoo's are ugly...especially ugly as we get older. Only RARELY, do they add anything to a person. Mostly I think "WHAT A FOLLOWER" because so many girls have them now...not cool like when I was younger.

I'd suggest you get a temporary tatoo rather than permanent...they look the same, but you can wear it for a while and see what you think.

I'd go for a small one on the ankle, that's really cute. Or you can try something on the center of your lower back or around your bellybutton.

I like the lower back ones. On your back (shoulder), ankle or the top of your breast is feminine. I think either will look good.

"Make sure you know what your doing it is permanent." And do you think you will regret it one day? Make sure you have thought it through, don't just do it because it is considered to be cool. I almost did it and I am very thankful I didn't... Just my opinion..... Best wishes to you... EDIT: Idiot Savant is giving you some great advice as well...
