Have we not just had a month of twenty five fully grown men chasing around fields in Germany after simulated pigs bladders?

If you want to see live sport, don't turn on the Boob Tube, get on your bike and go to your local football club, fork over some cash and go and watch it live from the terraces! OK, if you live in a large city, this may mean forking out a small fortune if the nearest teams are in the Premiership, but I mean the small local teams.

The problem with the coverage of sport is the greed of the sportsmen, if David Beckham and his colleagues didn't command seven or eight figure salaries, then the clubs would not be forced to sell the TV rights to the highest bidder - the TV station that charges for it's signal and so has the most money!

I agree though, we need more sport on TV, but not just football!

It is very good that sport is not on TV. All sport should be confined to 'pay for it if you want it' because it is sooooooo boring. We can't win at football, cricket, tennis or anything else for that matter so why do we want to see all of our esteemed sportspersons fail miserably in the glare of the public eye...........

I know your frustration but you will need to go digital in the near future as they will be turning off the analogue signals.
