depends:
Under 18: A tatoo looks silly. Who is she trying to be?
18-25: It may be hot. Ready to party, and old enough to.
25-30: She's pushing it. She should have gotten all of that partying out her system by now.
31 and up: It's just sad. Remnants of a life long gone. The tattoo ends up looking like a mistake.

A tasteful piece of skin or body art can be enhancing. The trick is to know how much is too much. A small rose, a teddy bear, a butterfly, a cartoon character, or some personal expression are acceptable, and in some cases, absolutely awesome.

Depends on the tattoo. If a woman gets a really large and gaudy tattoo, then I don't think it looks good. I don't think that looks right on guys either. A small one or a couple small ones looks okay. I'm turning 18 in 5 months, I'm getting a tattoo for my birthday.

Yes I do and I hope they like th ones I have but remember it's not the tattoo you fall in love with! I've seen women with ink I was drooling over but the person was a "Huh?"

They're a complete turn-off. If you're thinking about getting one - remember, they're permanent unless you care to go through having them removed (painfully) by a laser. And if you get one, get it where it doesn't show prominently - it won't help you to get a job if you're female and have some big tattoo on your arm or neck.

I hate those lower back tattoos. Have you ever seen that SNL skit that has one of those tattoos going from "Pretty Lady" to "Pretty Sad" after 30 years?
I also hate belly button piercings...they remind me of those ugly troll doll thingies with the jewels stuck in their belly button.

Sure, on certain areas of the body... And they have to be artful and tinny. I like the ones on the lower back.
