Evil Spirits, Demons, and the such can all physically interact with living beings. Most often these entities are more pleased at causing major incidents and causing a human to do the evil things. Some entities like to torture living humans though. A strong entity has the ability to rape a female at will, and has in the past, as stated in this movie and the woman's experiences. (To counter point one of the answers above me, rape isn't sex, rape is the violation of a person's sexuality through the means of either forced sexual intercourse, or objects being forced into the opening.) Thus, an entity can easily rape a person, because most, if not all, earth bound spirits understand matter and know how to manipulate it so as to cause their desires to be realized. Fortunately, spirits, most at least, cannot form physical bodies for extended periods of time, and most can't even form a part of a body for more then mere seconds. This does not mean though that they cannot enter your mind, body, or even soul. In fact, most people these days have been possessed at least once in their life, where they have done some small dead they never would've done of their own will. Evil entities can be extremely powerful, and can do just about anything to harm you, including, but not limited to, sexual intercourse, scratch marks, bite marks, burns, and even the occasional pulled hair. These entities can also move objects, cause power surges, cause the temperature in the air to fall drastically, and even in a very few, rare cases, cause death. Evil entities are usually bound to a specific location, but in the case of the movie "The Entity" a innately psychic person can attract these entities and they can follow them around for months, years, even decades. The more powerful an entity is, the more dangerous it can be, and if at all possible, it would be best to seek out a priest, preferably Catholic and not a molester, a psychic, or even a true practitioner of the more mystical arts, These entities can be VERY dangerous, and do many various things.
