i think it has to do with your aura basic colours.
i feel very attracted to women wearing the colours i like, ´cause i feel they have the same emotional characteristics i have, and reinforce or complement them.
even male friends.
i have noticed they, women to whom i am atracted and friends, both sexes, use to wear blues, light browns, some marine greens and seldom use bright colours only for a special activity or gathering...

It depends on the kind of dialogue that being pursued and the "flavour" of the 'end-state' that one hopes to achieve. But I like "forest green" an awful lot.
