why is my basement so hot when everyone elses basement in the world is so cold?

if your talking about being hot in the summer, it's because it needs to be insulated (the walls).
if it's hot in the winter...consider yourself lucky!

That's weird and it sucks. Is your dryer down there? Maybe it's the heat from the dryer.

It could be your dryer or your water heater may be set too high.

mine is hot too! lack of ventilation
