I'm in the UK so it's most likely Asian-related, definitely not rednecks or 4th July.

People...read this poster's additional comments...he's in the UK...4th of July is not celebrated in the UK...that is an AMERICAN holiday to celebrate independence FROM Britian.

Maybe they had extra. It rained on the 4th of July at my house so we have all these fireworks left over. We are going to shoot them off at my friends b-day party.

It's probably guys. Fireworks are definitely a "guy-thing." Fireworks are symbols of masculinity, and guys definitely like to watch things go "Boom!" You know, er... (should I be saying this?) bigger is better? (can't believe I said that!)
