Which country or nation/empire has caused
more wars (conquer etc ) in the history
of mankind?
I have a guess to this, but i am not 100% sure.
So for all you history buffs, and war strategists.
Which one is it?
Good luck!
BTW it can be as far back in history as you like.

Easy, Rome. They forced the Pax Romana "Peace of Rome" upon just about every country in the known world at the time. When I say forced, I mean forced.
Check out this map to see how far their reach went.

I don't know if this applies, but the region that has probably been in the middle of a large number of wars is where the State of Israel is today. It's not so much that they were causing the wars, but in ancient times, it stood right in the way of attacks on an from Egypt, one of the early powers in the world. Attacks on the area came from Egypt, the Hittites, the Assyrians, the Chaldeans, the Persians, and Greeks, and the Romans.
When the middle ages came along, it was conquered by the Muslims of Arabia, when later the Turks. Obviously it became the focal point of almost every Crusade the west threw in that direction.
In modern times, there have been plenty of wars happening there, including what is going on with Lebanon today. If one had to pick a given region of the world for the most war, the area where Israel is today would be my nomination.

rome would be a good guess. it was founded aroun 750 b.c. and countiued in various forms until 1450 a.d. (byzantine empire)
throught out the whole existence the roman empire never really had a single year without border wars, campaigns, or a skirmish of some kind.
so you're potientally talking about 2,200 years of war.

There is a country called Mongolia which had a group of people called Huns. The huns used to attack all the neighbouring peace-loving countries just for money... they were the Pirates of the desert.

Rome is the correct answer. But it isn't just in ancient times. The papacy of Rome was responible for the crusades in feudal times.
