I'm currently at a junior college, who wants to go into the teaching field, as a primary ed. major. Where is a good school that I can attend that is in Illinois?

Illinois State. Or any of the Illinois public universities. Many started out as teachers' colleges and still have that major as the largest in their schools.

Stay in-state, save a lot of money. Stay away from Kansas; those people can't spell.

I attended Southern Illinois. It has a decent education program. How about U of I ? One great school! In all honesty I can say that any university with an education program is about as good as any other. My school district has had a very difficult time trying to find teachers to replace retiring teachers. We have had problems finding math, science, and English candidates.
