All mythologies were at one time religions and all current religions will probably be relegated to the title of myth in the future. Therefore, the terms are interchangeable. I know that people believe that their particular religion is not myth. That happens to be why they believe in it. But people of another religion may see that one as a myth and therefore ask questions about it here.
Others will put any question anywhere. They don't really seem to care if it fits or not. By putting this type of question in an out of the way place, they may think they are spreading "the word" better.
Don't let it bother you. Just let them be who they are. If their questions bother you then just don't answer. That may be exactly what they want.

Because mainly religions are intertwined with mythology? Hinduism is essentially a religion of mythology and there is also Islamic mythology, Christian mytholody (the holy grail) and also mytholody is subjective, what some people think is true, others believe is a myth.

In two thousand years the religious of today will be call Mythology and they will laugh at what we believe today the same way we dismiss what people believed in Greek 5000 years ago or the Romans 2000 years ago

Probably....because.....to an atheist like me there really isn't a difference between religion and mythology.
Think about it logically........Thousands of scientists for hundreds of years have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles across the globe and still we have only categorized about half of the species on the planet. And you're willing to believe Noah went out and fetched them all in two-by-two in one lifetime? How's that any different from the mythology of Icarus? Of Zeus? Please...... They're not in the wrong place, it's all the same.

I think people who are visiting these sections are all here for the same thing... spiritual substance. They thirst for knowledge and for something greater than themselves. Mythology used to be religion didn't it?

It apeares to be a mix up between what is a myth and what is real, but since they have found Troy how do you define myth and religion. Some Christian-Judeo believers think anything but their faith is a myth so who knows.
