A few tips-

Take deep breaths and imagine all the tension leaving your body.

Get the Stress and Anxiety self hypnosis tape from Potentials Unlimited at Potentialsunlimited.com . This teaches you a lot about controlling your emotions and feelings, as well as how to "let go" of the things that really don't matter.

Ask youself, how much of what is troubling me will matter a year from now, ten years from now, how big is it really in the scheme of things?

Be spiritual. Realize you are never alone and there is a much greater energy that loves you unconditionally. Surround yourself with it when you begin to feel stress or anxiety.

Learn to meditate. The more you learn to relax, the better you will be able to fight off stress.

Try some relaxing herbal teas. Try a few drops of lavender essential oil in a warm bath.

Regular work-outs are very helpful for stress, anxiety, good sleep, and pain relief.

You should try yoga. You don't have to do the physical exercises but I do recommend you doing the meditative exercises since I find them to be so helpful in relieving my stress. Also you may want to try to eat heathier, more natural foods. Some foods contain artificial flavors which can trigger stress. You should also try slowing your life down a little if that's possible. You only live once so enjoy yourself, don't be stressed.

My boss tells me that we get stressed when we are unable to accept certain things or facts. I think it's true.

Everytime I get stressed, I now ask myself why am I not accepting this fact. By answering myself, I find ways to overcome it. Acting is always the best way to deal with stress. Leaving things that worries us makes things worst. A situation usually does not goes away by itself unless acted upon.

Another way I deal with stress is to read self help books. I would recommend the following three books:
1. The Magic of Thinking Big
2. Don't Sweat the small stuff
3. Success Principles

Lastly, i try to master the art of ignoring things or events that makes me stressed!

Check out a site I created when I was stressed! Haha! http://stress.50webs.com which eventually led to http://www.wanginternet.com
