I had been strugling with acne for over 9 years and i have tried everything .. microdermabration for example for 2 years and it helped but it did not leave my skin as they said. the important thing to do is #1 read the ingredients from the products you use and understand where they come from and #2 use only botanically based products because they are way much healthier for your skin thn anything else. using too many products formulatted with mineral oil, animal products or byproducts certainly is a dilema. The problem with using these as ingredients is that your skin is not absorbing it and it stays on the top making your pores clog and maybe seeing a temporry, it is like putting celophane paper on your skin and putting the lotions or cremes on it.... also, mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin, it would be like rubbing car oil on it and exposing yourself to the sun, the sun is #1 and it is the 90% of lines on your skin.... Avoid animal products because these do no get absorbed by our skin and they come from dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc., you see there are these rendering plants (recycle for animals) that they pick all the dead animals and they put them in a huge pot, squash everything inside, boil it and what comes to the top is what companies use to formulate their "beauty" products... gross i know... the lipsticks, lip balms, eww ... anyway, use botanically based products for everything, skin care, makeup, body care, aromatherapy, i use arbonne products and they work just great, their skin care products are amazing only from plants no chemicals, nature, and their antiaging line is just awesome, they are so convinced you will like their line that they have a 45 money back guarantee if you are not satisfied w/ their products you return and they give you $ back, that is why i startec to use them, because no other line does this, not estee lauder, lancome, none of them and well i had nothing to loose just the curiosity.. so i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com ... ... under shop online you could even ask for a free sample... and i receive my products in my house with nobody bothering me nor pushing me to buy.... if i need help i can call a consultant but it would be up to you... anyway try them they are really great .....

Microdermabrasion is a skin-freshening technique that helps repair facial skin that takes a beating from the sun and the effects of aging. The plastic surgeon uses a device like a fine sandblaster to spray tiny crystals across the face, mixing gentle abrasion with suction to remove the dead, outer layer of skin. As with other skin rejuvenation techniques, more than one treatment may be needed to reduce or remove fine wrinkles and unwanted pigmentation.
I had this done last year and the difference was amazing.

I would recommend visiting your dermatologist for a prescription. Laser surgery is an option, but it is expensive and can take a while to work. Other than that, use make up and don't worry too much. Most proms have professional photographers that will retouch your photos.

ACTUALLY WHAT IT DOES IS REMOVE A THIN LAYER OF SKIN ON YOUR FACE THAT CONSIST OF ALOT OF DEAD SKIN CELLS...IT IS SUPPOSE TO IMPROVE THE CIRCULATION, THE BLOOD FLOW AND MAKE YOU FACE HAVE A YOUTHFUL GLOW.....IT'S REALLY NOT CRACKED UP THE TO STORIES IN MY OPINION....
