I have no idea how old you are, but for myself i spent a lot of time alone due to my sons sport which takes the men away a lot on weekends. I have discovered scrapbooking and have found it a great stress and boredom reliever. Then when the kids get home they bring photos of which I can scrapbook. I also do aerobics which gets you out with other people as well.

Well without knowing a lot of info, why not visit a nursing home.
Go to your local gym and see if they will let you help in some way.
Check with your neighbors..Maybe they need something from the store, and are willing to pay a little if you pick them up what they need.....
Try helping at home.....Maybe Mom and Dad can give you a little if you help out....Even taking out the trash without being asked is a big help......(no pay) Then Mom and Dad will see you are serious

Get your ipod out and jam to your favorite music. Or you can find some awesome chat sites and chat with people. Those two things will keep you busy for a while.
