I got a job when i was 16 as a cashier in a grocery store. Bought my own school clothes and pretty much spent it on whatever i wanted. Now i am an LNA and work with geriatrics and alzeimers which is a very rewarding job but can be very physical.

My first job was general labor in a machine shop. Since then I've been a dishwasher, cashier a few times, file clerk a couple times, order picker/packer, mail room clerk/supervisor, and a typist many times. Now I'm happily just a housewife :) though I'll probably look for a little temp work around the Holidays.

My first job was at a McDonalds in 1984 for about 3.45 an hour. How sad is that. I am now a preschool teacher. I actually started working in child care right after McDonalds so I have been in it for 22 yrs.
